This Week at Envato

Note: This post hasn't been updated in over 2 years.

Sadly I’ve come to the end of my two weeks in Melbourne, and by the time you read this will be making the agonizing drive home – for 23 hours! Although the office is still quiet following the Chicago event, it was great catching up with real faces instead of avatars.

Melbourne is almost 2,000 km south of where I live, and the weather has been around 10°C colder than the Sunshine State. I’m heading home with a huge cold, and hope the warmer weather will kill it in no time.

Thanks Melbourne for the fun work days, the good food, and the game of pool.

Welcome Josh – Our New iPhone.AppStorm Editor

We’ve going to be making a few changes at iPhone.AppStorm over the coming weeks, including some new types of post, a more frequent publishing schedule, and generally much more app awesomeness! There’s a lot to look forward to, and I’m really excited about what we have planned.

Part of this change involves taking on a brand new site editor for iPhone.AppStorm – the multi-talented Josh Johnson, who will be taking over the day-to-day running of this site from now on. Josh is an avid iPhone fan, Mac user, general Apple extraordinaire, and the perfect person to take up the iPhone.AppStorm torch!

Welcome Josh and read more on iPhone.Appstorm.

iPad 2 Predictions

If you own an iPad, you haven’t had it for six months yet. And already the rumor mills are working overtime about the next version.

This week iPhone.Appstorm’s new head man Joshua Johnson looked into his crystal ball, and let us know what he saw in no uncertain terms.

Check out Josh’s predictions and let him know what you think at the iPad 2 Predictions article.

Lunch in Melbourne

I was making significant headway home while they were eating lunch in Melbourne. I can tell you that we had a great Chinese meal earlier in the week. What did you have for lunch?
